Iron Veggiemon Agumon and the rest of the digimon are freeing some
of the Gotsumon in the cages that the digimon emperor made. They realize that
since it was too easy, the digimon emperor must be doing something else. They
take the Gotsumon back to the real world to protect them from the digimon
emperor. Meanwhile the digimon emperor has just set up another control sprire,
which allows him to control the digimon with his dark rings. He then goes into a
village where Gabumon is living with the Gazimon, and tells them that they have
to listen to him or answer to his army of veggiemon controlled by black rings.
Back in the real world, Izzy borrows Yolei's digivice to see why only the new
digivice can open the gate to digital world and not the old ones.
In the digiworld, Gabumon and Gazimon have been
captured and put in a cell but are able to break out of it easily. They run away
but don't get very far when a Redveggiemon attacks Gabumon. Using his attacks,
Redveggiemon knocks Gabumon off a cliff and into a river below. Gabumon is swept
away and lands onshore near a portal to the real world. Gabumon tries to
contact Matt. Matt is at his concert and later after he and TK meets Davis'
sister. They suddenly get a message from Yolei about an emergency. The
digidestined go back to the digital world and meet with Gabumon. Gabumon tells
them what happens and they decide to go and destroy the spire. They pretend to
have captured the digidestined and are able to get past the first set of guards.
They get past the next set of guards and defeat them. Davis suggests something
but nobody listens. Matt yells at Davis and Kari gets mad that he is talking
about older brothers and sisters. Davis thinks the Kari hates him and feels
sad. Veemon wants to make Davis feel better so when Redveggiemon comes again.
Veemon wants to cheer Davis up so he attacks Redveggiemon by himself. The
veggiemon capture the rest and Redveggiemon takes care of Veemon. Redveggiemon
hit Veemon against the spire and after a couple of times, Redveggiemon misses
and breaks the control spire. The spire stops working and Gabumon is able to
digivolve to Garurumon again. Garurumon attack Redveggiemon. Veemon armor
digivolves to Flamedramon and takes care of Redveggiemon. Armidillomon armor
digivolves and then destroys the control spire. They realize that the spiers
control the black rings and also blocks the digivolving process. They realize
they have to destroy all of the spires so this way the digimon will be able to
digivolve. Everyone goes back to the real world while Tai and Greymon destroys
some other control spires.
