2 - Episode
Family Picnic Mimi has just returned to Tokyo from New York. The
new digidestined have decided to have a picnic in the digiworld since it is a
Saturday. Everyone is in the computer room when Mimi walks by. While she is
here, Yolei invites Mimi to come with them on their picnic to the digiworld.
While having the picnic, Armidillomon throws sushi to Hawkmon but instead it
rolls away from him. Hawkmon and Yolei chase after it. Mimi has a bad feeling
about them going off by themselves and decides to try to find and follow them.
Unexpectly the ground spilts and Mimi falls into the hole. Mimi wakes up and
sees Hawkmon and Yolei. In the dark, red eyes start to glow and when they come
into the light, Mimi recognizes them to be Gekomon and Otamamon and that they
are friends. Hawkmon and Yolei notice the dark rings on the Gekomon and Otamamon
and take Mimi. They run away from the slaved Gekomon and Otamamon. Mimi falls
and that makes them fall back. Suddenly someone yells Poison Ivy and take
Hawkmon, Yolei, and Mimi to safety. They then see that it was Palmon. Palmon and
Mimi are both reunited and in the background you can see a control spire. The
digimon emperor get mad and tells Wormon to send the Roachmon brothers to finish
off Mimi and Yolei. The roachmon brothers attack Mimi and Yolei with their
garbage attacks while Mimi and Yolei run away from them. Yolei finally thinks
that it's time to armor digivolve. Yolei rides Halsemon while battling the
Roachmon brothers. The Roachmon brothers aren't very smart and miss Halsmon.
Mimi takes the Roachmon stupidity into advantage and has a plan to destroy the
control spire. She tells Yolei and Halsemon to try to trick the Roachmon
brothers into breaking the control spire for them. Fortunately it works and the
Roachmon brothers disables the control spire. Palmon digivolves to Togemon and
uses her needle spray to destroy the control spire for good. Togemon then
decides to stay and protect the Gekomon and Otamamon from the digimon emperor.
The digidestined return the the real world and Mimi takes a plane back to New
York.
